Well, I've had many advise from many people.
The doctor who did my dilation & curettage (D&C) told me I could try again on my next cycle. Family and friends have different comments ranging from 3 to 6 months break. I personally think if my womb and body is looking good, I can try again whenever that will be.
I went back to the IVF clinic last week. Unfortunately the doctor who saw me seems very unconfident in what she was saying. She was frowning at the ultrasound screen and looking crossed. She said there was something in my womb but she doesnt know what it was. She said I might have to do another D&C to remove it so they can see what it is. Oh, how shocked I was and I honestly didn't believe her.
I was asked to wait while she confided in her colleagues. She came back to ask me to do a beta HCG test, which seems funny to me cos thats the blood test to see if someone is pregnant. They took my blood and asked me to come back later for the results. When we went back in the afternoon, they have not done the test. I decided I wasn't going to make another trip back, instead I made another appointment at a better looking new women's clinic.
I found out at Hanh Phuc Clinic that the doctor who saw me at the IVF clinic doesn't have O&G experiences. She may be good at IVF but doesn't know much about O&G and thus gave her no basis comments. I had a gynaecology examination and ultrasound and all turned out well. My womb was looking normal.
I actually learned not to trust the first doctors you see.
My period came heavy few days ago. We went back to the IVF clinic and thank God we get to see Dr Khanh, who has been more friendly and convincing than the other doctors so far. He did another ultrasound for me (even though I was bleeding), and consulted the main doctor, Dr Lan. Well, it seems that though my womb is looking normal, it isn't very pretty looking. I was asked to take a break from TTC for another month.
Well, that's good too. I'll definitely go for rock climbing then and lose some weights.
